Revenge of the GM food

Just completed another presentation for the Chem Eng and Society module. Well it's not actually a presentation but more of a debate style kinda thing. The motion being "GM foods offers benefits for humanity", and my team was against it. Interesting twist included: we were to adopt a role assigned to us for the debate and i was some scientist from some USA university. Anw kinda nervous but the whole thing went well and my team surprisingly won the debate....even though there wasn't much preparation beforehand....guessed we managed to bomb the opposition instead......After the whole thing, went down to town to get soya milk.....funny part....i thought it was cheap cos it showed 99p....when i cashed it at the counter, it showed up as 1.64 GBP...had to ask the cashier to call someone to double check the price....until i saw the word "organic" staring right at my face. Yea......GM food....I may have won the debate but you sure slapped me right back in the face there! lololol
