WoW...porn!!

Another clip that sent me laughing like siao...I mentioned about World of Warcraft (fondly referred to as WoW by many gamers) in a previous few posts....and now introducing.....the World of Whorecraft!!! Omg this is absolutely WTF again and appeals to the geekiest of the geeks who's seriously interested in watching elves "doing the dirty"!!

Check this out...and no this is not exactly a porno but a TV show for gaming that talks about it....but still must caution...

WARNING: This video is not suitable for minors and contain explicit, vulgar content that may offend....so unless you are of legal age and mature enough to deal with this shit, pls pls PLS don't watch if you feel offended.

I think the host's comments are seriously funny! Laughed as hard as those dudes on the show!! XD

Red Alert 3 = A wacky cast and game?!

The 100th post of my blog...gonna dedicate this to some gaming stuff that I came across recently..in case whoever's reading this blog is wondering, my aim is not only to keep a little journal entry of my mundane life, articulate my thoughts, but to also keep the blog alive by putting in stuff that I enjoy doing and checking out anything that looks interesting, crappy or anything nonsensical to me, and of course to update on my SEP travels (darn...when will I ever sit down to finish this?)

So I'm gonna comment a bit on this game that KW recently brought to my attention...Red Alert 3....OMG....the franchise has extended to the third installment liaoz! Not sure I am exactly too excited abt this...but the original first Red Alert was one of the first few games I played when it first came out 10 yrs ago...(that and the C&C original series) While gameplay was your usual strategy shit, the main attraction was the in-game FMVs which featured real acting by a cast to propel the story and drive home certain points (oh...like our base is being attacked!!...we need reinforcements down here tt kinda shit) But I always found them corny and seriously LOL and WTF at times....ok..most of the time.

Now this time...the corniness has upped several levels and I can't help but laugh myself off when I saw the latest trailers for Red Alert 3. Check these out to see what I mean..XD

Wow....to sum it up...

1) Einstein is electrocuted due to a time-travel attack by the Soviets (think it's gonna make his hair even more stand out!!)
2) Japanese running amok, Japanese units transforming tank to mecha (?!?)
3) Jenny McCarthy the former Playboy Playmate of the Year staring as Tanya the babe for the Allied side, together with yet another busty girl with a British accent
4) Gina Carana a real Muay Thai fighting star and Ivana Milicevic from Casino Royale for the Soviets (wow more cleavage shown yet again)
5) Kelly Hu for the Japs!! :p:p:p
6) Corny liners from the Allied commanders and possibly from each and every cast member (send the commies to their mummies!!!)....oh btw the guy who said that is the loud and mean newspaper editor from Spiderman!!
7) Straight-faced and deadpan Japanese actor who plays the Emperor (maybe they should have gotten Ken Watanabe to play this?)
8) Crazy cast of characters, obviously sponsored by the muscle gaming giant which is known as EA (usually puts up a good show and lotsa hype, but the end result may be a gameplay which isn't exactly too gr8)
9) Ultimate cheesy acting at work here!!!

Think this is gonna be one wacky, hilarious and corny game. Seriously WTF!!

Comex 2008 (feel very auntie here....)

Very very squeezy day at Suntec....went at 12 after a drop off from the bank amidst a heated exchange with the bank staff...so was kinda moody and pissed. Did not really help that this year the show was somewhat incredibly crowded and stifling, much more so than last yr. And I had several task at hand...to grab HDDs, flash drives, as well as several priorities which as listed in order:

1) LCD / Plasma TV
2) My gaming desktop
3) Digital Camera
4) Phone

Ahem...so as you can see, my appliances are breaking down one by one...actually 1) and 2) are dead liaoz, 3) is still ok (accompanied me for my Europe trip le and lasted for 6 years) although it's gonna gimme probs sooner or later, 4) is just plain old and ugly (wat ya expect from a phone that I have used, not changed since my army days and cost 0 bucks with trade-in?!? Read: 6 years....again)

So I set out to look for all of these and I must say I think I was too spaced out that in the end I only accomplished looking out for the TV. Man....the place where I got the 46 and 32 inch TV was literally a slaughter-house with crazy hourly specials and over-enthusiastic salesman. I camped there for 2 hours waiting for them to hand out their hourly deals....damn auntie la!!!

Bumped into quite a few people at the fair like Welly who is forever somehow changing her phone, Zhan Sheng (Zhiwen's upperstudy) and Alex who's lugging his precious home theatre system (haha how come I always meet him in such random situations like in London?!) Met up with Kinwee too later for dinner at Glutton's Bay cos he had a laptop to trade in.

Anw a general observation made...this year like not alot of models arnd...and a bit of side-track here....reminds me of the days when I was in Taiwan in 2006 for a computer trade fair. The atmosphere is so much different. In Taiwan, the presence of the models are truly felt as they actively go around to promote the products and they are incredibly knowledgeable of what they are selling and not just distributing flyers...over here we have middle-aged or young student sales promoters doing that job and the models just stand arnd giving out flyers and looking very sian...heck they don't even look attentive here!

Haiz...shitty day at the bank, squeezy atmosphere, did not get everything in my wish-list, feeling damn auntie and now no babes to check out!!! Kaoz...quite a very lousy day...

Anw to end off here...a little something that I promised Kinwee over dinner, here's my upload from the Expo fair during my Taiwan trip...enjoy!! (PS: KW...pls dun look at this and get your eyes infected again hor......:p:p:p XD)

Rise of the Lich King

Totally blown away by this cinematic....oh...I've always loved cinematics from Blizzard as well as their games. Right down from Warcraft to Diablo, their opening cinematic is always a piece of art and bound to excite.

FYI, I don't play World of Warcraft, think a MMORPG is a serious life-sucker and heavy investment (wastage?!) in time, but I have always loved the story of Warcraft, right down to its intricate details. That's why when ppl started buying Warcraft III to feed their DOTA playing habits, I felt that it was a bit of a pity that full justice was not made to the original core of the game.

Anw....not just the details of the trailer was exciting (the Lich King and the summoning of his Frost Wyrm), but most of all I loved the narration behind the trailer. The voice is that of Arthas' (aka the new Lich King) father
reminding him to be just to his people, yet the boy has fallen so far that he now takes his throne amongst the undead. Oh he killed his pa btw...tt in-game cinematic was gr8 too and was the turning point in the original WCIII. Oh just love the irony of the whole meaning behind this.

Flying popping soldiers...or was it popping flying soldiers?

Some random duh clip here....deadpan British "humour" taken from BBC. Never really understood British humour in the first place...hmm........

Gimme a GM Corvette pls.....

Caught this glimpse of the Transformers movie coming out next year...new cars that include the GM Corvette Centennial Design Concept and the Chevrolet Beat and Trax in the Autobot group, together with your usual Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Ironhide...I must say the GM Corvette looks f&^%$ing sweet! Oh...it's the first car leading the pack btw..

Sleek looking car :):)

Cheap cheapo steak

Wow I did not know that there's this place called Aston's at Cathay that sells mainly Western meals at a relatively lower price than usual than other restaurants in the Orchard area. (Can always expect to spend 20 plus bucks and above when eating out at Orchard) While the steak I had was not particularly uber-outstanding, the mushroom sauce at least made up for it. But of course looking from the price point of view, it's certainly worth it. The prime sirloin costs about 11 bucks, the fish arnd 7 plus...
Oh and did I forget to mention? The price stated above includes 2 choice of side dishes like mashed potatoes, fries, salad, corn, onion rings....not too bad.....
Only prob? According to Gwen, the staff never fails to screw up their order...bound to have a bit of service probs...lol
Last but not least...introducing the IBC Root Beer that is sold at Aston's. Had a huge craving for root beer and all of us ordered that....refreshingly shiok!! Only lacking in ice-cream to make root beer float! :p:p:p

Fireworks at Marina

An outing to catch the fireworks at Marina. But before that, introducing the beef cheese fries I had at Carl's Junior...

Tada! Shiokness....so filling that I almost could not finish it

And of course now presenting...the fireworks where we camped outside Marina Square amidst a rainy evening (hate those umbrellas that start popping out to block the view!!) and a huge cheering crowd.

Eating with your hands 1.01

Another long overdue post. Had dinner with the rest of the Exxon interns from the other departments at the Banana Leaf at Little India. And OMG to my surprise, it's actually the same Indian restaurant I ate with my 4D friends some years back (erm...tricked into going there at that time actually...lol...cos they knew I did not really like spicy food :p) But anw surprisingly tt day I just so happened to be craving for something spicy.....

Anw...let's just say that the chicken and squid with masala, tikka or whatever spices that come along tasted damn shiok plus the barbaric fact that we were all using our hands to eat makes the experience even better. :p

Happenings in the Office

A small celebration in the office for Angela's birthday. Actually, it was held in our intern's "hideout" corner. :p We got her a small "cup" cake from Breadtalk, which led to some funny random moments as well as showing our typical lunch-time happenings.

Angela's present, courtesy from us!

Kinwee taking care not to set off the smoke detector in the building, loved that expression of his when we reminded him of it....priceless!

Our birthday girl

Making a wish...eh...actually posing for the camera cos she blew the candle liaoz!

Looking greedy here, our foodie queen!

And presenting...our lunchtime chill-out...KOed Kinwee!

KO also hit Zhiwen...and what's with Jue Ran's jacket?!?!

Ok....so I decided to straighten it for him...muhahaha!!

A little video we took...first part = me not knowing the video was running and Jue Ran said I looked damn ah beng....wth?!? And then a random joke of Breadtalk from Zhiwen, Angela dropping her food, comments abt Jinyao (?!?) and even a discussion about Usain Bolt, the fastest man in the world!

海天寥廓 云树苍笼 中有我华中...........

Another post which I just had to make! An interesting clip that was circulated by the old boys of TCHS via Facebook. OMG the first part of the clip at the assembly sessions so reminds me of the good ol' days in TCHS la!! FYI, I used to lead the school in the pledge taking, national anthem and school song singing about once a week in sec. 4, all thanks to NCC :p

In addition, did not know that the TCHS school song had quite the story behind it. Hurhur...call me a fanatic, but yes I really liked TCHS alot...gave me one of the best times of my life and really gr8 friends! So here's to all the old boys of TCHS, the dudes in khaki shorts and with hairy legs!! Yeah!!

Lufbra Family meet-up

Our Lufbra Family outing at Central!! Our first meet-up since returning from Loughborough. So looking forward to meet everyone...and can see that we have all settled back into our old lives le...keke

Ben's 好介绍 at Marutama Ramen in Central...tried the Ake Ramen with 15 different nut flavours in it....positively nutty and a bit 酸辣

Up next, a bit of walking around (correction: hor-laning) Central searching for dessert...kinda reminded me of the times when we are travelling and in the process of searching for food and directions :p

Anw we settled for the Coffee Club. Highlight was letting Seehwei and Shiwei seeing our very hilarious and "unglam" videos taken during our trip in Madrid and all of us having a good laugh about it...and I mean a really good laugh :)

Myself, Yisi, Seehwei and Jinyang

Hazel and Shiwei can't help but advertise for the Coffee Club!

Hurhur....ordered the mudpie!! Tada!!

Fantastic mudpie..even bigger than the one at TCC..loved the coffee powder, Oreo base...sauce...aiyo....everything abt it man!!!

Mudpies, 1 each for me, Yisi and Jinyang...proving that we have humoungous appetite for dessert...even the waitress was stunned and slightly amused that we were ordering 1 mudpie each to ourselves...keke :p

Group pic

Looking forward to our next meet-up at Hazel's dance performance! Until then, take care everyone!

SP Com Meet-up

Another long-awaited meet-up with the SP Com members...Huiyian and Victor have been talking about this meet-up since my days in SEP. Dinner after work at Shin Kushiya at VivoCity. Gr8 catch up with the girls, and I think the highlight was listening to Huiyian "bitch" about her "horror travel partner", much to the amusement of all of us :p Sorry girl for making u talk about it again!! Hurhur :p

No idea what to order, so we shared the assorted kushiyaki platter with skewers of fresh prawns, cheese wrapped with pork (personal favourite :p), shiitake mushrooms, yakitori...etc

Weili, Huiyian and Anqi

Myself and Victor

Group pics

And of course how to forget dessert at Ben and Jerry's...still remember the good ol' days of eating Ben and Jerry's for supper in Loughborough!
